Today's challenge is to take the stairs! Even though taking the stairs doesn't really help the environment (the elevators and escalators are, of course, still running after all!) it definitely helps your body. Whenever I volunteer at the hospital, I try to take the stairs. You wouldn't believe how slow the elevators are! By taking the stairs you're usually getting to your destination faster, and you're freeing up elevators and such for the people that actually need them. Sometimes, I'll admit, I use the elevator to get from one end of the hospital to the other, but I'm going to try to stop using the elevator all together. Besides, usually patients are being transported via the elevators, and it's best if they can be alone with their family members and their nurse/doctor.
I also found a fun website today where people decided to get other people to do things by making them fun. For example, in the video below, they made the stairs into a piano and a ton of people started taking the stairs instead of the escalator! They also have a bunch of other Fun Theories!
