DIFFICULTY: Medium
Wow, I can't believe we're almost to 100 days! 2010 is going by so fast!
Anyway, today's challenge involves a really awesome organization called Mercy Corps. Mainly, the issues Mercy Corps deals with have to do with poverty, but they do so much! They fight for education, for education, against war, for stable government, for the environment, against displacement, for emergency aid, for technology and clean water and even more! So how can you help? Well, they have these really cool things called Mercy Kits.
Mercy Kits support health, economic livelihood, education, etc. in developing nations. Each kit has a really great description about exactly what the donation goes towards, and what's really cool about them is that they are pretty much meant to be given as gifts! Some of them are really expensive, but others are relatively inexpensive for the amount of good that they do! I love how many options there are for kits, because you can get one pertaining to an issue that whoever you're giving it to really cares about.
(Also, don't forget not to wear shoes tomorrow! ;) )
