DIFFICULTY: Easy
Today's challenge is to recycle or donate old ink cartridges! Recycling ink cartridges is important because otherwise they'd end up in landfills, and if you think about all the businesses and schools using ink, that's a lot of cartridges! An extra way to do kindness with those cartridges is to donate them! Many schools and organizations use them for fundraising, because some companies will pay for ink cartridges you're recycling. I've heard some ink cartridges can be exchanged for 8 dollars, which can really add up if you have a large amount of them! You can use these for your own fundraiser or donate them to another organization, but the important thing is that they're getting recycled and the plastic isn't being wasted!
(24 more cupcakes for the count! Also, if anyone is wondering about the "cups of water donated" section I added to the count, it's from the Trivia for Charity post. Freepoverty keeps track of how many cups of water you donated, so I figured I'd keep playing and share the amount here!)
