DIFFICULTY: Easy
Here's another way to say thank you! Sometimes (especially as a student!) I take my clean school with its shiny floors and empty trash cans for granted. I've come after school at night for meetings for different activities and such and seen the custodians still there, waxing the floors, working hard to keep the school running like it should, and I've never said thank you! There was also that time when I realized I forgot my project at school late one night and was locked out of the classroom and a really nice custodian went out of his way to unlock the room for me! Today's challenge is to leave a really nicely decorated, pretty thank you note for the custodians at my school. I'll have to find a good place to leave it, one where they'll definitely find it! Maybe I'll set it up really obviously in a classroom somewhere, and maybe with a little batch of cookies! We'll see, I'll try to post pictures when I complete this one!
Speaking of thank yous, I managed to finish my first thank you jar with a little bit of help from my sister! It's filled with over 50 thank yous for the teachers in my school, and hopefully I'll find a way to sneak it to school tomorrow. I figured I'd take a picture now just in case I don't get a chance to while I'm sneaking it in!

Sorry that the picture quality isn't particularly good! To make this thank you jar I took a regular jam jar, some ribbon, some felt, and slips of paper that I cut out (after printing my thank yous!). It actually took a lot less time than I originally thought!
On a different note, my mom found another 5 cents in the city today! After a month of nothing we're finally on a roll! Not to mention the four more soda tabs added to the count today.
ALSO: If you've been wondering about those pictures I've been meaning to post, you can see them in the new "The Proof!" section under "Incomplete" in the left hand sidebar. In there you'll find some of the pictures of challenges I've taken, including the ones from our trip to the book store where we dropped the two stuffed dogs and left notes in books! :)
