DIFFICULTY: Medium
Today's challenge is to make a Squidoo! If you sign up at squidoo.com, you can make something called a lens. A lens is like a website, which, thanks to the different modules and simple set up, is really easy to make! You can make a Squidoo on any topic you choose. It can be on your favorite book or movie. You can use it to share recipes, or to teach someone something new. Every lens has ads on the top and the sides, which the creator of the Squidoo can use to earn revenue. However, the great part about Squidoo is they actually have the option to send all of the proceeds from your site to a charity of your choosing. You can choose from a variety of charities on a long list. I created a Squidoo called "How to Save the World", which has many of the ideas, videos, book recommendations, etc. that you can find on this site, all in one place! It also lists more charities and other resources if you're looking for more to do! I chose to have my Squidoo benefit a foundation called Save the Children. You can check out my site here, and begin building your own here!
