DIFFICULTY: Easy
Hope is in the Cards is an organization started by a man who simply thought the world would be a better place if our mailboxes were filled with messages besides bills and magazines. The idea of Hope is in the Cards is to write a message to a loved one, a friend, anyone you know or don't know yet who could use a little uplifting. You can say thank you, or just ask how they are. It doesn't matter what it says, it matters the effort you put in it, the fact that you took the time to write someone a nice message that will hopefully make their day! (who doesn't love getting mail anyways?) If you do write a letter, though, write or stamp the word "HOPE" on the back. Spread the word! I think it's a wonderful idea to spread a little happiness.
If you would like to read a better account of how this idea got started, you can read about it here. Not sure how to make a card and don't want to buy one? The site has directions on how to make one here.
(Two more boxtops for the count!) :)
